I'm a Divi specialist, with 10 years of experience using the platform. Not a generalist who builds in Divi when a project calls for it — a developer who works in Divi 5 every day, knows where its strengths and weaknesses are, and builds sites that load fast, stay working, and grow with your business.
Whether you need a new Divi 5 site, a Divi 4 to Divi 5 upgrade, a performance overhaul, or someone to maintain a Divi site you already have — I'm a real specialist, not a checkbox on someone's services list.
Anyone can drag and drop modules in Divi. What separates a Divi specialist from a generalist is the work you don't see — the work that determines whether your site is fast, whether it stays working after the next plugin update, and whether it's easy to grow or expensive to fix two years from now.
Most Divi sites get built once and then slowly fall apart — broken after updates, slow on phones, impossible for the next developer to figure out. I build Divi 5 sites the way Divi 5 was designed to be built: modular, fast, maintainable, and easy to hand off if you ever need to. The investment you make today shouldn't expire in two years.
Already have a Divi site? I take over sites that other developers built or abandoned — fixing what's broken, updating what's outdated, and keeping things running with monthly Webcare. I also handle the Divi 4 to Divi 5 transition for sites that need to move to the current standard without breaking what already works.
A well-built Divi site can score 90+ on Google's mobile PageSpeed test. Most score 40–60. The difference matters: page speed affects how your customers experience your site, how Google ranks it, and how many visitors stick around long enough to buy. Performance isn't a vanity metric — it's revenue.
Want to swap out a photo, add a new staff bio, or update your hours? You shouldn't need a developer for routine content changes. I build with editing in mind — your team can keep the content current without breaking anything.
Divi releases major updates several times a year. A poorly built site breaks every time. A well-built site updates cleanly because the customizations live in the right places — not buried in theme files that get overwritten.
I document what I build, name things sensibly, and keep customizations in standard WordPress locations. If we ever part ways, your next developer will thank you. (Most won't.)
Divi 5 is the new architecture. Divi 4 is still supported but no longer where the platform is going. I build new sites on Divi 5 and migrate older Divi 4 sites cleanly — without breaking what's already working.
Some projects need Divi. Some need Elementor. Some need a custom WordPress build with no page builder at all. I'll tell you which, and I'll tell you why — even when the honest answer means a smaller project for me.
The result is a site that earns its keep.
I publish step-by-step Divi 5 tutorials based on real client builds — like building an off-canvas slide-in menu with native Canvases. Browse the Divi 5 Tips series to see how I work before you hire me — or browse my Divi builds in the portfolio.
A Divi specialist is a developer who works in the Divi theme every day rather than occasionally. In practice that covers four things: building new Divi 5 sites, upgrading older Divi 4 sites, fixing Divi sites that load slowly or break on update, and maintaining Divi sites month to month. I do all four.
For most sites that are still actively used, yes — though not necessarily today. Divi 5 is faster and is where Elegant Themes is putting its development effort, so new builds should start there. An older Divi 4 site that is stable and rarely changes can wait. The upgrade does need testing, because customizations built for Divi 4 do not always carry over cleanly. I handle the migration and the testing.
Yes, and it is a large share of what I do. I start with an audit so there is a written record of what is actually on the site before anything changes. From there we either repair the existing build or rebuild it properly, depending on which is the better use of your money.
Almost always yes. Most slow Divi sites are running on default settings with unoptimized images and fonts — not a limitation of Divi itself. A properly configured Divi 5 site can score 90+ on mobile PageSpeed and 100 on desktop.
It should not, and if it does, that is a sign of how it was built. I keep custom code in versioned, portable places rather than scattered through theme options, and I test Divi releases on a staging copy before they touch your live site. That is the difference between an update being routine and an update being an emergency.
Yes — monthly Webcare built specifically around Divi. It covers Divi and WordPress updates tested before they go live, daily off-server backups, uptime and performance monitoring, security hardening, and a plain-English monthly report. Generic WordPress maintenance plans skip the Divi-specific work; this does not.
Yes, and NDA-friendly. I stay invisible to your client. You keep the design direction, the account relationship and the billing; I take the Divi build, the customization and the ongoing maintenance.
Both, though Divi 5 is the deeper specialty. If you are choosing between the two for a new project, I will give you a straight recommendation based on what the project needs rather than which builder I would rather use.
I believe a website should be welcoming and easy to use for every visitor. When I build your site, I keep the diverse needs of all users in mind — focusing on intuitive navigation, clear layouts, and readable designs. By making your content accessible to everyone, I help you reach a wider audience and ensure every potential customer has a smooth, professional experience with your brand.
